Jean Bartkowiak, CEO SCO Health Services

Jean Bartkowiak commenced as President and Chief Executive Officer of the SCO Health Service in January 2004.

Mr. Bartkowiak comes to the SCO Health Service having held senior positions at Hôtel-Dieu d’Arthabaska (Victoriaville, QC), Hôpital Laval (Sainte-Foy, QC) and Restigouche Hospital Center (Campbellton, NB). He was most recently Executive Director of the Centre hospitalier des Vallées de l’Outaouais (Gatineau, QC).

Mr. Bartkowiak holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Toronto, a diploma in Institutional Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor’s degree in science, neurobiology from McGill University. A surveyor for the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation, he chaired the Canadian College of Health Service Executives and was very active as a Board member and 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors of the Quebec Hospital Association.
